The Karoo Donkey Sanctuary Virtual Adoption programme is a community of compassion. Your monthly or annual commitment provides the essential support needed to care for the rescued animals in our home. Your kindness also enables us to continue our vital work in rescue, education, and advocacy.

Meet Our Residents

We invite you to scroll down and meet the special needs residents who would love to call you their sponsor. Each animal in our programme is a survivor with a unique personality and a story that often began in a very difficult place. The good news is that they are now living their best lives, surrounded by the love and specialized care they deserve. Simply click on the animal you feel a connection with to learn more about their journey and become their sponsor.
