Roo

Roo and Amazing Grace have become inseparable besties. Roo is a permanent resident in our Pensioners Herd. She had a very tough life as a working donkey in the rural North West Province of South Africa where, prior to her rescue, she sustained an axe-wound to her lower back. Roo and Amazing Grace sleep in the same stable at night and they share their feed. Roo’s needs are for lucern, supplementary roughage and concentrates. Our beautiful Roo also has a boxy hoof (club foot) and she also receives special farrier care
