Frankie

Our beautiful Frankie is one of our many Hartswater auction survivors that we rescued on that fateful day in the Northern Cape province of South Africa back in February 2017. As with the other 335 donkeys and 38 horses we rescued that day, little Frankie went under the hammer for her meat and we acquired her by the kilogram. Maimed and covered in deep scars from repetitive beating, little Frankie was so emaciated upon her arrival at KDS that she required emergency resuscitation. Frankie is now living her best life with us as integral member of our Mega Herd of 130 donkeys.
