Vligie

Vligie is our special needs cow and she is in 24-hour care for the regular seizures she endures. She was born in July 2021 at our new facility in The Crags, South Africa. Vliegie's mother Blommie unfortunately rejected her at birth and our team bottle-fed her from the moment she was born. Our gorgeous little Vliegie thinks she is half human and a half donkey! Her digestive system, unfortunately, did not fully develop resulting in our little girl's stunted growth. Vliegie is on daily supplements to help her digestion. She also gets supplementary roughage, lucern and lucern pellets.
