Rebecca

Rebecca was found abandoned near Prince Albert, alone and in desperate need of help. Elderly, terribly malnourished, partially blind and infested with blood-sucking louse flies, she had clearly endured a lifetime of hardship.

Rebecca was brought to KDS, where she received the nourishment, medical care and protection she so desperately needed. She now has the peace, dignity and security every animal deserves in their twilight years.

Rebecca is a gentle and quietly courageous old lady. Her limited vision makes her understandably cautious, but once she feels safe, her trusting and affectionate nature shines through. She asks for very little and touches everyone with her quiet dignity.
